Hot Air Balloon Rides
How long is the balloon flight?
Flight time in the air typically lasts about 45–60 minutes, with the full experience (check-in, inflation, flight, landing, and ceremony) lasting several hours depending on conditions.
What time of day do flights occur?
Our flights launch in the quiet morning hours after sunrise, when conditions are calmest and visibility is best.
Is there an age limit?
Ballooning can be enjoyed by most ages. We recommend that children be able to stand comfortably in the basket and feel comfortable with the sounds of the burners.
Is there a weight limit?
We do not have a strict weight limit. If you have specific concerns, please contact us before booking so we can assist with planning.
Can we fly in bad weather?
All flights are weather-dependent. Wind, rain, fog, or unstable conditions can result in cancellations for safety. If your flight is canceled due to weather, we will work with you to reschedule or offer a refund.
Do I need to be physically fit?
Passengers should be able to step into the basket and stand for the duration of the flight. There are no seats inside the basket, but you can lean against the edge comfortably.
How many people are on a shared flight?
Flights are shared with several small groups to keep the experience intimate. This allows for interaction with your pilot and fellow passengers in a calm, unhurried environment.
What should I wear?Dress in layers appropriate for cool morning temperatures and wear closed-toe shoes. Mornings can be cool on the ground and slightly warmer in the air.
Will I get motion sickness?
Because the balloon moves gently with the wind rather than accelerating, most people do not experience motion sickness. If you are sensitive, consider light preventative measures just in case.
When should I book my flight?
Morning flights are popular, especially in peak seasons. We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date.
Is tipping expected?
Tipping is not required but is appreciated. Tips are typically shared between the pilot and ground crew.
Private Flights
What is a Private Flight?
A Private Flight is reserved exclusively for your group, offering a more personalized experience with flexible arrangements for special occasions such as anniversaries, proposals, or family celebrations.
Cancellation & Weather Policy
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 48 hours in advance may be eligible for a refund minus any booking or processing fees. If a flight is canceled due to weather, you will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule. Specific terms are provided at booking.
What happens if the weather changes on the day of my flight?
Safety is our priority. If conditions do not support a safe launch, we will notify you as early as possible and assist with rescheduling.
